So, I'm starting to accept that I'm not going to be able to avoid the snow, hence the new background. It's piled high and is not going anywhere soon. I was reading an article the other day that snow accumulation just for the month of February is already up to 30.3 inches. And its a short month! And we're only a week in! I was finally able to leave my apt today and get some groceries, all in prep for Sasha's arrival. I'm hoping we'll still be able to get around.
An interesting thing about Pittsburgh. They leave chairs (and it looks like other household items) in the street to save parking spots. I saw it in action across the city today. I think if I manage to dig my car out tomorrow I might indeed do as the Pittsburghers do and reserve my spot. I'm becoming one of them.....oh help me...I think that I'm gonna to need a nice cold Yuengling.
