Snowpocalypse

We had a winter storm roll through yesterday and the snow finally stopped around 1p today.  Yesterday we had huge mutant snow flakes falling from the sky!  I even had a little scare on the road.  Coming to a stop while going downhill, even slowly, is FREAKING SCARY when your car fish tails and you think you might slide onto the sidewalk.  But luckily I made it home safe and sound, and have mostly been indoors ever since.
The roomie and I shoveled the sidewalk this morning for a while.  Last I heard we were suppose to get close to 18 inches of snow.  It was well up to my knees trying to get across to the street.  But I'm back inside now with my hot chocolate and it looks like the sun is coming out.
I also got to enjoy watching lots of doggies frolicking in the field of snow behind the house.  For most of them the snow has been taller than them, but you see them making little paths to get around.  They seem to be having lots of fun.  Enjoy the pictures!  I hope everyone has a fun and safe superbowl!

Shoveling- great work out, but will be so sore tomorrow
